He is currently the Liberal Member of Parliament for Bramalea—Gore—Malton, riding which he has been representing in the Canadian House of Commons since 1993. In 2002, he became the recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for his commitment and contributions to Canadian society.
