Per Erik Gunnar Westerberg (born 2 August 1951) is a Swedish Moderate Party politician and as of 2006 the current Speaker of the Swedish Riksdag, of which he is a member since 1979. Westerberg was born in Nyköping and graduated from Stockholm School of Economics in 1974. His family has been running a family business for generations and he is now the richest member of the Riksdag, with a personal wealth exceeding 200 million SEK, (around $30 million 2006).
