Jimmy D. Long

- Businessman. Jimmy Dale Long, Sr. (born October 6, 1931), is a former Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He represented District 23 from 1968 until 2000, being the "dean" of the Louisiana House when he returned to private life. He is a recognized authority on educational policy.
