- American football halfback, defensive back. William Russell Kinard (born December 16, 1933) is a former American collegiate and Professional Football defensive back who played for the NFL's Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers, and for the American Football League's Buffalo Bills. Kinard played collegiate ball for Ole Miss before being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the 2nd round of the 1956 NFL Draft. He played professionally for 4 seasons and retired in 1960.
