- German pair skater. Romy Kermer married name Österreich is a German pair skater and figure skating coach. With Rolf Österreich, she is the 1976 Olympic silver medalist. Romy Kermer began skating in Karl-Marx-Stadt and became a pair skater already there. Her first partner was Tassilo Thierbach. 1972 she moved to Berlin and skated there at the club SC Dynamo Berlin.
