- Professional footballer. Paul Robert Reid is an English professional footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Leicester City, Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Oldham Athletic, Bury and Swansea City. He then played in the Welsh Premier League for Carmarthen Town and Afan Lido. Despite playing at senior level for 17 years, the only major success of his career came in 1995 when he helped Huddersfield Town to gain promotion to the Division One via the Division Two play-offs.
