- Australian politician, Geography lecturer. Robert John Solomon (born 2 November 1931) is a retired Australian politician. Born in Condobolin, New South Wales, he was educated at Barker College, the University of Sydney and Oxford University before receiving a PhD from the University of Tasmania.
