- United States federal judge. Charles Cheatham Cavanah (September 26, 1871 – June 30, 1953) was a United States federal judge. Cavanah was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. Cavanah was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Idaho. Cavanah was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on December 22, 1926, to a seat vacated by Frank S. Dietrich. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on January 3, 1927, and received his commission the same day. Born 09/26/1871. Died 06/30/1953.
