- United States federal judge. Edward Roscoe Meek (December 23, 1865 – April 10, 1939) was a United States federal judge. Born in Davenport, Iowa, Meek received an A.B. from State University of Iowa in 1887, an LL.B. from that institution in 1889, and an A.M. there in 1891.
