- United States federal judge. Edward Whitson (October 6, 1852 – October 15, 1910) was a United States federal judge. Whitson was born in Linn County, Oregon. He read law in 1879. He was an Auditor, Yakima County, Washington from 1875 to 1876. He was a Member, Washington Territorial Legislature from 1877 to 1878. He was a Mayor, North Yakima, WA from 1886 to 1888.
