Elmer David Davies

- United States federal judge. Elmer David Davies (January 12, 1899 – January 7, 1957) was a United States federal judge. Davies was born in Magnolia, Arkansas. He received an LL.B. from Vanderbilt University in 1922. He was in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee from 1922 to 1939. He was a Tennessee state senator from 1935 to 1939.
