- United States Navy Medal of Honor recipient. Charles Luers Nordsiek (April 19, 1896-March 9, 1937) was a Seaman in the United States Navy and a Medal of Honor recipient for his role in the United States occupation of Veracruz. He died March 9, 1937 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. His grave can be found in section 7, lot 10230-SS. Born 04/19/1896 in New York City, New York.
